What feels more like spring than a midi floral dress?
I love to wear midi-length dresses and skirts in the spring and fall because they’re great for layering. It’s not quite warm enough for a shorter dress, but you can still get away with a dress in the cooler temps when it comes down longer. (For other outfits with midis check out this post or this post).
For today’s look, I started with this floral midi dress (which is under $30). I added these neutral block heels, which are currently on sale for under $60! I love these heels because they are perfect to wear year-round and they go with everything. I also really like the block heel because it adds a bit of stability. I first wore these heels to NYFW a couple years ago, which wasn’t my best idea. They are comfortable for a couple hours of dancing, but they’re not walk-miles-all-over-New-York-City-comfortable. However, you can probably tell that just by looking at them 🙂
If you’re looking to add a bit more to your look, you can add a nice fedora. Mine is from Forever 21 Â a few years ago, but here is a similar fedora.
I finished the look with one of my favorite handbags – the MAB camera bag by Rebecca Minkoff. You can see it also in this post and this post. I’ve had it for a couple years and it’s my go-to bag on the weekends. I love that it’s small, discreet, and a crossbody, yet it comfortably holds all of my essentials. I’m not a big fan of those tiny bags that have to be carefully packed just to hold my phone and a wallet.
