Nothing beats the perfect casual outfit, right? This Shein striped dress is a great base layer to the perfect casual outfit. I love that it is short-sleeved and hits below the knees. It is the kind of dress that works really well for the transition from winter to spring.
To make this dress work for cooler temps – like the 50’s and 60’s – I added a cozy scarf and a jean jacket. Depending on how cold it is, you could also add lightweight cardigan (I like this J.Crew lightweight wool sweater for spring).
After adding some warmth to the look, I added some comfort and practicality with these Superga sneakers. I have had these shoes for about a year now and have worn them all throughout the year. They are super comfy and go with just about everything. They are perfect for running errands on the weekend.
To finish the look, I went with this black cross-body. When I’m out and about, I like going with a hands-free purse option. This cross-body is roomy and well-made. I like that it is black with gold accents and the black tassel. It is simple and understated, yet chic. You can also monogram it to make it extra special.
I completed the look with a wide-brimmed fedora (similar, similar), black round sunglasses, and pink ball drop earrings. When it comes to accessories, I try to save money on the trendy pieces and invest in the timeless ones. Some of my favorite places to shop for trendy accessories include Forever 21, H&M, and Amazon. On Amazon, especially, you can usually find similar pieces similar to the popular ones for a fraction of the price.
