
Fall is the perfect time to pull out your chunky, cozy sweaters. However, how do you wear them without looking too bulky? I have a few tips to help you pull off this boho-chic look:

Wear Slim Pants –
Whether it’s your favorite pair of skinny jeans or a great pair of black leggings, you will want pants that are simple, slim, and dark. Dark skinny pants help your legs look longer and they will offset the bulkiness of the sweater. I chose these simple dark jeans from Old Navy. They’re affordable and super flattering.

Wear Shoes with Some Height –
You will want shoes that add just a couple inches. You won’t want high shoes that you have to hobble around in because it’s a casual look. However, by adding just a couple inches you can elongate your legs. You can opt for your favorite pair of clogs, booties (these favorites are currently under $100), or wedges (if not too cold where you live).

Add a Small Bag
Again, it’s all about proportions and balance, so if you’re going for a bold, chunky sweater, you will to keep the accessories simple and unobstusive. I have worn this bag season-after-season.
