A few weeks ago, I traveled to St. Louis, Missouri to see a couple of my good friends get married. In addition to all of the wedding festivities, I enjoyed a wonderful visit with one of my best childhood friends.
She took me to this wonderful place for brunch and I just knew I had to share it with all of you! The store is called Bowood Garden & Home and the restaurant was called Cafe Osage.
It was an open airy cafe meets your dream Anthropologie with plants mixed in! Basically – every girl’s dream.
Here’s a peek into the gifts area:
The gifts area included favorites such as Rifle Paper Co. along with other quirky notecards and stationery. It was mixed in with journals, washi tape, and fun DIY books such as Paper to Petal. Also, since it was just before Christmas, they had great holiday paper as well as decorations. They also had a section just for kids with smart, well-made gifts.
Here’s a look at the garden area:
The garden area was lush and airy. I loved browsing the aisles and taking a look at each of the plants. They had a nice variety of size and shape – with everything from tall trees to mini plants and air plants. I wanted them all! They also had a great outdoor garden area that had Christmas greenery and decorations.
Tasting the food:
I enjoyed a Greek salad with fresh, soft pita bread in the attached cafe. The food was fresh and hearty – and many of the items on the menu included ingredients grown in the garden.
