Just because summer is over, it doesn’t mean you still can’t squeeze in some fun trips. Fall is one of my favorite times to travel with the cooler temperatures and the changing leaves. It’s also nice because most of the summer construction is over, but the winter weather conditions haven’t set in.
If you live in the midwest, a great place to visit is St. Louis, Missouri!
It’s easy to travel to and has the amenities of a big city without the hassles. If I’m looking for a fun trip from Columbus, I often choose St. Louis over Chicago because of its’ affordability and all of the unique attractions.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing my favorite places in St. Louis —
Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis
4431 Lindell Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63108
All you have to do is take a peek at these photos to see that this cathedral rivals some of the most famous ones in Europe. It also boasts one of the largest mosaic collections in the world! Located in the Central West End neighborhood, it’s convenient to all of the other attractions and close to some great places to eat.
