I have been loving the Limited recently.
I used to find that their clothing was a bit too boring/stuffy for me. However, in my recent quest for something that’s a bit more professional, I have been pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer.
They have clothing that is appropriate for the office (skirts that reach the knee and sleeveless tops that cover bra straps), but it’s still fun and could easily be worn out after work. Today’s outfits are the perfect example of pieces that could transition from day-to-night or from work-to-weekend.
Outfit #1: Transition from Day to Night
Sleeveless Ashton Blouse (Fuchsia Pink) [Past looks: here, here, & here]
Zebra Pencil Skirt (Natural)
Large Trapezoid Tote (Black) [Past looks: here]
Natural Stripe Bangle Bracelet (Brown)
Mixed Bauble Necklace (Brown) [Past looks: here & here]
I was initially drawn to the skirt. I love how it’s a neutral color, but it has the bold zebra pattern. There’s also a slight bit of shimmer, which adds some depth to the skirt without looking tacky. For the summer, I think the bright pink color of the blouse is fun. For work, I might skip some of the accessories – like the bangle and necklace, but I think they’re perfect to add to the outfit after work for a quick dinner with friends. For work, I’d also add a jacket or sweater to stay comfortable in the air-conditioned office building.

Outfit #2: Transition from Work to Weekend
Sleeveless Ashton Blouse (Fuchsia)
Printed Easy Shorts (Navy)
Natural Stripe Bangle (Brown)
Mixed Bauble Necklace (Brown)
I was also drawn to these patterned shorts. For this outfit, I decided to try it with the same accessories as the work outfit. (I like versatile pieces that can be worn again and again). I think this outfit would be perfect for Saturday morning brunch with friends or for a relaxed summer evening out.
