Even though it may be the start of winter and cold temperatures, you don’t have to be stuck with pants for the rest of winter. Good news: you can still wear some of your favorite dresses. This week, I decided to take this lace dress from Tobi and style it a little bit differently for the cold weather. I added some of my favorite black leggings with warm socks and booties. With the bell sleeves, the booties gave the look even more of a boho/hippie vibe. I layered on a bright scarf and my favorite trench coat for a casual weekend look for cool 40s/50s weather and some sunshine.
We spent Sunday enjoying the non-freezing weather by stopping in some of our favorite places in the Short North – a hip, lively neighborhood in Columbus. We enjoyed some coffee at One Line and stopped into the new Clothe Ohio store. You may remember me sharing their posts here and here – they just opened their first retail shop this weekend. If you’re local, it’s a great store for some holiday shopping.

Do you have a favorite way to style dresses in the winter?
