With the first bit of snow forecasted for later this week, I have to admit that I’m missing fall just a little bit. As I have mentioned before, we had a long, warm fall with lots of color this year here in Ohio. It was perfect for getting outside and enjoying quick day trips to some of my favorite places like Yellow Springs.
On our most recent trip there, we enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of eating lunch at Sunrise Cafe, wandering around the town to see all of the houses with their fall decor, and bringing a little work along for when we stopped into a cafe later. We brought this Just Porter backpack along to carry all of our essentials for a day out. I packed some things like this light vest for time outdoors, but we also brought along some books and a notebook for getting some work done. We also carried some of our tech items like our camera and a laptop.
One of my favorite things about this backpack was the quality. It was clear that it was well-made and that there was an attention to detail. As a blogger (and also as a girl), I feel like I always have a lot of little things with me – whether it’s an extra charger for my phone or a lipstick and I love having a place for it all, which was another thing I loved about this backpack. I also enjoyed the fact that it was black and the shape of it. It’s easy to take outside and not worry about it getting dirty, but I also feel like it would blend right in on the streets of somewhere more urban – like New York City.
