Hi Friends – it has certainly been a while since I have shared a traditional outfit post. It’s nice to be back and to have slightly warmer weather. We shot this outfit today when it was a “balmy” 40 something degrees and I’m sure anyone who saw me thought I looked a little crazy with bare legs. To be honest, it’s still far too cold for an outfit like this, but I couldn’t wait to share this cute navy gingham dress. It’s lightweight and I love the flutter sleeves. It will be perfect for the warmer days ahead of us this spring.
I put this look together with this drapey trench coat. This is my third season wearing this coat and each season the pink sells out. It’s so popular that I feel like they have to bring it back again. I love the weightiness of this coat as well as the “drapeyness.” I love that it’s not as structured as most trench coats. It’s a great coat to pull together your outfit (without making it too formal).
I also added these rose gold loafers from ASOS that I wore last fall at New York Fashion Week. I think they add a bit of fun to any outfit. These ones are sold out, but I have linked some similar options for you below. For accessories, I wore these bright pink ball drop earrings (currently under $10), some square sunnies, and this light pink satchel. This bag is also from last fall, but I have also linked similar options below.
Let me know your favorite piece of today’s look in the comments below!
