If you live in the Columbus-area, chances are that you have heard of the Igloo Letterpress. Last week, they invited me to check out their current space and to discuss their new location as well as their current Kickstarter campaign!!
Igloo Letterpress is a printmaking studio and gift shop located in Worthington, Ohio.
They also do bookbinding, invitations, and commercial printing. They also host classes for the general public.
Igloo Letterpress has a rich history rooted in family traditions. Igloo’s owner, Alison, learned the craft of letterpress from her grandfather and then later inherited the presses. She operated the business out of her home in Minnesota for ten years before moving to Columbus, where she has been operating out of the current location for the last six years.
They love being located in Worthington, but they are looking forward to moving into a larger and more visible space in the community – right on High Street (the main street of Worthington).
