Though bloggers spend a lot of time writing online, we always love a good opportunity to meet-up with one another.
This past Saturday I hosted a small lunch gathering at Café Istanbul in Bexley. Despite the rain and chilly weather, we had a great turn-out and it was fun to meet some new people. There are so many talented bloggers in Columbus with a range of experience – some have only been blogging for a few months while others have been blogging for over six years!

Here are the ladies that attended – be sure to check out their awesome blogs!

For the décor, I wanted something simple, but fun. I started where I begin most projects, which is on Pinterest! I wanted to get some inspiration and an idea of what to look for when I went shopping. to get some ideas as to what I like. Since there isn’t one great party store in Columbus, I felt like I would have to look around at a bunch of stores (which I did). I ended up with supplies from: Joann’s, World Market, Michael’s, Party City, and Target!
Once I found the pink and gold wrapping paper at World Market, I knew it would make the perfect table runner and ended up basing my decorations around the pink and gold!

Here’s what I made/purchased:
Gold flower Vases with Tulips: old glass bottles covered in gold spray paint from Michael’s
Pink & Gold Table Runners: wrapping paper from World Market
3 Fringed Lanterns: handmade with materials from Party City and World Market
1 Rose Petal Lantern: handmade with materials from Party City
1 Honeycomb Poof: purchased from Target
