Black Ruffle Shirt
Ruffles have been a big trend this year. I think they’re fun, but I always wonder, is this something we will look back on and wonder – what were we thinking? I snagged this shirt at H&M for under $20 a couple weeks ago. We were in the store picking up a couple other things and I pulled this off of the rack and took it home without even trying it on. I love that it’s on trend, but comfortable and easy-to-wear.
For this look, I wanted to create a comfortable, chic look for the weekend. The cotton ruffled tee is comfortable, but paired with dark jeans and the rose gold loafers, I’ve added a bit of sophistication.
Additionally, accessorizing with this smaller pink satchel purse elevates the look as well. For even more glam, I could see adding a statement necklace.
This look is perfect for brunch with the girlfriends or even heading out after work. I’ve already worn this shirt to work as well, but switching out the dark denim for black pants and more subtle shoes.
