As you may have noticed, I am a paper gal. As much as I enjoy learning about new apps and the amazing things our phones can do, I love a pen and paper for my ideas and to keep track of my to-do list. You may remember my planner post from 2015 and 2014.
I’ve always been one who enjoys keeping a journal and I also keep a separate notebook for my blog. Therefore, I am always picking up cute notebooks to write down my latest ideas.
These ones are the latest collaboration between Egg Press and Blue Sky. Egg Press is a Portland-based letterpress studio and Blue Sky is a planner and paper company that sells their products at Target. They are currently featuring a variety of paper companies such as Susy Jack, Dabney Lee, Sugar Paper, and Ampersand (in addition to Egg Press).
These notebooks measure 5.75×8.5. Each page is lightly lined in either a grid pattern with lines or with dots and each page has a place for the date at the top. There is also a calendar for 2015 and 2016 in the front of each notebook. I love the grid pattern because it helps keep my ideas organized, but it also allows me to illustrate something if I feel like it.
