3D Framed Objects become Art

The first thing that usually comes to mind when we think of art is a painting hung on the wall

– usually within a frame. If we think of a 3D piece, we think of a sculpture on the ground, but how often do we think of 3D pieces framed on the wall? That’s what I LOVED about these pieces…

3D Objects Become Art on A Few of My Favorite Things

They also got me thinking about what I have lying around that I could frame and hang on my wall.

Faux Coral ShadowboxesHorchow • $136.50 – I have so many pieces of coral from various beach vacations. I love natural elements, so this is something I’d like to DIY with real coral.

Framed Agate Wall DecorHorchow • $171.50 – I also have a thing for agate and stones, so I think this could be another fun DIY.

Geometric PrintsHorchow • $294.90 – I think it would be great re-create this with some wall paper scraps or with some tiles that you don’t have use for. For example, when I was in Istanbul at the Grand Bazaar, I loved some of the tiles. However, I didn’t want to bring a bunch home and wasn’t sure what I could with just a few. This would be a fun project for those tiles.

Honeysuckle Nest Wall DecorHorchow • $262.50 – I love the simplicity of these nests and the texture of them.

Tommy Mitchell Gilded Flower StudiesHorchow • $612.50 – These are so beautiful and simple.

Framed Sea FansHorchow • $472.50 – I love those these almost look like delicate line drawings and love the frame that they’re paired with.

Did these pieces give you any new ideas of objects to frame?
