Toronto is full of fun neighborhoods. In addition to Little Italy, we also explored the Beaches or just the Beach. I think it’s fairly popular with tourists, but it was such a beautiful area with many quaint homes and a neighborhood feel. It’s in part of what was called Old Toronto and is located along Queen Street East.
There is a main street with shops and restaurants and a large park called Kew Gardens that leads from the main street down to the waterfront (Lake Ontario). Along the waterfront, there is a small beach as well as a long boardwalk.
We were there in May, which is still a bit cooler and springlike, so we were still able to see many tulips – so pretty!
