Summer Transition with Polaris Fashion Place
With the hot, humid summer temps of mid-July in Columbus, it’s hard to think about Back-To-School and the cooler weather. However, some schools in Central Ohio will be starting in about a month, so I guess the fall transition is coming. As someone who loves layers, fall is certainly my favorite season to dress for.
Polaris Fashion Place invited me to do some shopping and look ahead to fall. I created 2 unique looks with pieces from Polaris and today’s has a late-summer feel with some pieces that could easily transition to fall. During the month of July, Polaris is collecting donations for United Way’s “Buy One Give One Campaign.” Pick up some clothing for a school-aged child and drop your donation at the Guest Services desk. They’ll be gathering the donations to hand out ahead of this upcoming school year.
I was immediately drawn to this bright blue, off-kilter skirt from H&M at Polaris. I love the bold blue and the hem. I added this olive sleeveless top. It’s perfect for a casual summer evening (as shown in this look), but pop on a blazer and the olive top would be perfect for work this fall.
These pink slides are easy to wear and perfect for summer. They work well for running around town doing errands or can easily be dressed up a bit (like in this look). They aren’t typical for fall, but I’ll be wearing these for as long as I can.
Next, I added these gold tassel earrings. Slightly over the top and certainly statement earrings, they add a little something extra to the look. I wouldn’t wear these for errands or in the office, but they’re perfect for a dinner outing.
Thank you to Polaris Fashion Place for sponsoring this post.
