There is certainly no shortage of Ohio T’s and sweatshirts here in Columbus, Ohio. However, how many support a good cause?
Clothe Ohio is a new brand with a mission to (literally) clothe Ohio.
They follow a Tom’s shoes-type business model with the idea that for each piece of clothing purchased, a piece of clothing is given to someone in need. Currently, any purchase you make will benefit Lighthouse Youth Services – which assists and supports homeless youth and young adults in southeastern Ohio. If you know of an organization that would benefit from this, click here.
For this post, I wanted to do a twist on a t-shirt. I selected their Ohio Circle White Tri Blend Shirt in Black. I love the bold design and the ease of a black shirt – it goes well with everything.
I paired it with this J.Crew skirt from last season – [find a similar design (here, here) ] to add some texture and dress it up a bit. I added my magenta sweater from Land’s End for warmth along with this JC Penney army green anorak jacket (similar, similar, similar).
I kept the shoes simple by pairing with these Walmart black flats (similar, similar) and I wore simple H&M aviator glasses (similar, similar). I added a bit of a pop with these fun Target earrings (similar, similar, similar). The bag is vintage Bottega Veneta (see this post for similar options).
