Red Rocks Amphitheatre Colorado

Red Rocks Amphitheater

is a must-see for anyone headed to the Denver/Boulder area. I just love the color of the red rock against that Colorado-blue sky – the pictures definitely don’t do it justice. After our first stop in Boulder, Colorado – we drove about 3 hours to our next town, Buena Vista, CO (I’ll be sharing more about BV soon!).

Although we weren’t planning to make any stops along we the way, when we saw the sign for Red Rocks, we knew we had to stop. I had been there as a teenager and I always think about how fun it would be to see a concert there. During the day – when they don’t have events going on – visitors are welcome to enjoy the space for free. When we were there, we found lots of people working out – running the stairs and stopping for crunches and pushups along the way. They even have workout groups – it would certainly be a beautiful place to work out. We also saw plenty of tourists checking the place out.
