I love basics with a twist and items with a bit of a timeless quality to them. I’m also a sucker for Grecian-inspired pieces or pieces with embroidery, so I was instantly drawn to this dress. After a whole winter of wearing long pants, it’s nice to think about wearing skirts and cropped pants again (still a little early for shorts!) Also, it just got cold again in Ohio (we even had snow!), so it may be a couple more weeks before I can wear an outfit like this again.
To create a whole look, I added a jean jacket and my current favorite clogs. I’ve been wearing them almost every day for the last couple weeks. They’re perfect for milder spring weather – as long it’s not raining (or snowing!). I added a basic leather belt like this one to add some shape. I added a pop of color and fun with this polka dot bag from Old Navy (Similar). I finished the look with some classic Ray Ban style sunglasses.
