So it’s been a while since I’ve shared a Stylinity look from the Limited – I have been doing a bunch of changes behind-the-scenes and Stylinity has been doing the same!
If you’re not familiar with Stylinity, the basic concept is that they have created ‘shoppable selfies.’ It can be nice to get a second opinion when you’re out shopping. You can take a picture of what you’re trying on as well as scan each individual item’s barcode. Then you can post your photo to social media to get feedback from your friends. OR if you’re not into publicly sharing what you’re unsure about, it’s also a great way to save items for later. For example, you can take the photo while you’re out shopping, think about it, and then go home and buy it from the links that you’ve saved. It even saves your size!
In the past, Stylinity was mainly accessible through the machines they placed in stores. If you live in Columbus, they still have one in the Limited at Easton Town Center (which is where I take my photos). However, they also have an app now, so you can take your own photos and scan items from 100’s of brands (not just the Limited). I would definitely encourage you to give it a try!
What I’m Wearing:
Patch Pocket Blazer The Limited $108
Woven Front High-Low Top The Limited $35
678 Zip Ankle Jeans The Limited $80
Hobo Bag The Limited $75
I started this outfit with the blazer. You can’t go wrong with a blazer, if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to pull an outfit together. Then I picked this top. I’m LOVING this color for fall. I like that it has a rich tone to it, but still can be a bit colorful. (I like color year-round!) I also like that it has sleeves and a modest neckline. I then chose the ankle version of the skinny jeans. I think that the ankle length is perfect for fall. I also think it can be a flattering style on a variety of body types. I have found that the Limited jeans work well for me because they’re slim without being skintight. I finished the outfit with the black hobo bag. It’s a fun take on the bucket style bag that’s been very popular this fall.
Now you may be wondering – with all this talk about a capsule wardrobe (here and here), why is she sharing new outfits with us? Well, building your capsule wardrobe takes time. If you’re like me, you may have taken an inventory of your closet and found that you have some holes in your wardrobe. My goal (as it’s always been) is to share pieces and outfits that I love, but that are still practical and wearable (time and time again). Thus, I’ll continue to share new pieces and outfit ideas along with the capsule wardrobe.
*Today only – everything is 50% off at the Limited – it’s a great time to pick up some fall pieces!
