Skip the Dishes in Columbus
One thing that always makes me jealous of people in big cities is the fact that they can order almost anything and have it delivered straight to their doorstep. For a long time in Columbus, it seemed the only thing you could have delivered was pizza.
Recently, however, that’s been changing. We have Green Bean Delivery that brings groceries straight yo your door (one of my favorites!) and we now have Skip the Dishes. Skip the Dishes allows you to order from their network of restaurants and have the food delivered straight to your door!
A couple weeks ago we wanted to celebrate my mom’s birthday with some delicious food, but we didn’t feel much like cooking and didn’t feel like getting all ready to go to a restaurant and deal with parking, etc. so we tried Skip the Dishes.
Ordering was simple:
1. Put in your address
2. Select a restaurant and the delivery time (We chose Marcellas– yum!)
3. Check out their menu and make your order
4. Track your order from the restaurant to your doorstep
I enjoyed how simple the ordering process was and that we could pick when we wanted to have it delivered. We had my parents over to our place and were able to make our order in the afternoon to have it come in time for dinner.
