July is all about the heat of summer and the plants are out in full bloom. It’s “green” season in Ohio. I remember my first impressions of moving to Ohio as a child were how green everything is here. It’s truly beautiful.
When adding new items to my wardrobe, I like to select pieces that are multifunctional and could work in a different seasons. Today’s floral top from Modcloth does just that. It’s great for the hot, humid days of summer, but one can easily add some layers for a crisp, fall afternoon. I started today’s look with this top and decided to play up the pink. I pulled out these pink ball drop earrings and my pink low block heels. I added a pair of dark jeans and a small leather cross body bag.

When the weather cools down, you can easily add this olive green vest. I love how it’s slightly drapey – perfect for layering.

What I’m Wearing:
Floral Long Sleeve Top c/o Modcloth
Lightweight Olive Vest c/o Modcloth
Pink Low Wedge Heels (also available here)
Pink Ball Drop Earrings
Round Sunglasses
