It’s hard to believe that summer is already winding down (it’s Labor day weekend!), but it seems like the warm weather is here to stay for a bit longer (which is great with me!)
For this week’s look, I wanted to share a fun date night outfit.
What I’m Wearing:

I like to start my outfits with a simple idea (black shirt + pink skirt) and have fun details/surprises. For this outfit, I started with a black shirt from Anthropologie. I love finding ‘basics’ with a bit of a punch there – especially when they’re on sale! I love the details along the collar and the surprise cut-out in the back. It shows a bit of skin – without being revealing. This skirt I found at Forever 21 a few years ago. I LOVE the magenta color as well as the texture. It’s a bit difficult to see in the photos, but the texture adds a nice bit of detail – without clashing with the shirt. I added these great black and white patterned flats from Old Navy (also seen in this post) and finished with a black quilted purse and sunglasses.
