Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic – 3 Reasons Why You Need to Stop There

A couple years ago I was fortunate enough to go on a trip of a lifetime. During my senior year of college, I was selected to take part in a quarter long program in the Czech Republic in which we studied creative writing and contemporary art, while writing and drawing ourselves. (I will share more about that in later posts.)

When I say that the Czech Republic was a magical place, I mean it. The buildings are right out of a Disney movie. One place that our teachers took us was a small town in South Bohemia called Cesky Krumlov. Located along the Vlatava River, it’s reminiscent of a small town you might find in the United States. One difference, however, is that the buildings in Cesky Krumlov date back to the 1400’s. It’s also a UNESCO world heritage site.
