I think it’s safe to say that we’re all ready to be done with winter! I enjoy seeing the white snow, but I’m done with all of this cold weather. I’m counting down the days until warmer, brighter days, and some sunshine!
Here are a few of my favorite fun items to spruce up your beach bag:
ONE – Wide Brim Sun Hat Nordstrom $28 – This is like a fedora, but with some additional shade for your face. I always think fedoras are cute, but they’re not practical for the beach – if you’re interested in sun protection. I also love the touch of ribbon on this hat. It’s a great affordable option available in four different colors.
TWO – Carlina Round Frame Sunglasses Chloe $325 (I also like these ones and these ones from Discount Glasses) – I love the shape of these. I think they have a fun, vintage feel without looking entirely vintage. I also think they’d easily go from the beach to a nice lunch.
THREE – Raise a Glass Water Bottle Kate Spade $30 – It’s important to have water on the beach and this one’s insulated (it’s also just cute!)
FOUR – Mykonos Beach Towel Jonathan Adler $98 – I love bright pops of color. These come in two great colors and have a timeless pattern.
FIVE – iPad Smart Cover Lilly Pulitzer $48 – An iPad may not be the most practical item for a sandy beach, but it works for the pool area as well as at night while on vacation. I use mine to upload the latest magazine issues – it’s even free through my local library.
SIX – Suncare Travel Size Broad Spectrum Lotion Ulta $2.99 – Sunscreen is important, of course. I love this bright packaging – makes it easy to make sure it doesn’t get lost in your bag.
SEVEN – Ikat Beach Bag Nordstrom $28 – Last, but not least a fun beach bag – nice and large to fit everything you need (and want) for a day out in the sun!
