What is your idea of the perfect New Year’s Eve outfit? I love to dress up in the winter because it means I have the opportunity to wear my faux fur coat. Believe it or not, I actually purchased this one from Forever 21 when I was still in high school! It was one of those inexpensive things I bought for a specific occasion and didn’t plan to wear again, but yet it still holds a place in my closet. Isn’t it funny how that happens?
For this outfit, I started with a bold dress in a structured, more conservative cut. This dress is another Forever 21 find (from last year). I added the faux fur jacket for warmth. I went with some simple black patent leather heels with a bow! These ones were actually a Target find from a few years back, but here are a few similar options (a low, low, and high). For my bag, I went with a quilted mini cross body black purse with a gold chain. (Here is a similar version, similar, similar). I chose oversized crystal earrings. Mine are vintage, but are similar ones at Forever 21 here, here, and here. I finished the look off with a bold lip. I used this red lip pencil from e.l.f.
